What SetFast Is
SetFast® is Sherwin-Williams' line of fast-dry waterborne traffic marking paints, engineered for professional line striping on asphalt and concrete. It's the paint Quality Paving loads into our airless striping equipment for the final step on virtually every sealcoating and parking lot project we complete.
We stock and install SetFast in three colors that cover the specifications we see across Middle Georgia — white for standard stall lines, arrows, and text; yellow for fire lanes, no-parking curbs, and directional markings; and blue for ADA-accessible parking stalls, access aisles, and handicap symbols. Using a single manufacturer's product line across colors keeps our finish consistent from line to line and lot to lot.
Fast-dry waterborne traffic paint replaced older solvent-based products for good reasons: lower VOCs, faster return to service, easier equipment cleanup, and a finish that holds color and hides less dirt than solvent-based whites. When applied over a properly cured sealcoat with clean, dry pavement, SetFast produces the crisp, bright markings that make a lot look finished — and that customers judge the whole job by.

- For high-durability applications (heavy truck traffic lanes, long-life road markings) thermoplastic or preformed markings may be specified instead.
- Existing conflicting layouts should be removed or blacked out before restriping to avoid ghost lines.
